Afghans4Tomorrow (A4T)
, is a non-profit 501(C)(3), non-political, humanitarian organization dedicated to the reconstruction and development of Afghanistan. A4T has volunteer members across the United States and in Afghanistan. Our focus is on sustainable Education, Agriculture and Health projects.

The Fuel Briquette Project, started by A4T in July 2008, is producing briquettes at several stations including our A4T School # 1:
The goals of this project continue to be:
Providing jobs for handicapped victims of war and street children in Afghanistan, vocational training for our students, preventing deforestation, and
improving sanitation by reducing burnable garbage.

Participants return informed about Afghan history, culture, government, education, media and the challenges facing Afghan women today.

"Amidst the devastation comes hope for little girls" - A4T is featured in this article about our distribution of wool sweaters and hats in December 2008, mainly to A4T students in Kabul and Wardak Province. These gifts were hand knit by volunteers from the NGO: afghans for Afghans. See Humanitarian Aid.
